The County Administrator's Office is the focal point of the local county government for the public and should be the first place to contact concerning any questions or problems.

The County Administrator's Office is responsible for carrying out policies, orders, and programs of the Bland County Board of Supervisors. It also oversees the

  • Animal Control,
  • Emergency Services,
  • Refuse Collection and Disposal,
  • Planning,
  • Industrial Development
  • Witness Protection Program
  • Custodial/Buildings and Grounds

The County Administrator's Office also works with the various departments of County government to assure that County policies and programs are carried to completion.
