This was our first photo of Moose, taken in late December 1990, 10 days after he arrived. He's cleaned up and is beginning his recovery, but the look in his eyes says he still feels like he's been hit by a freight train.

This photo was taken several weeks after his arrival. It's obvious that he feels much better. We still can't believe how young he looks in this photo... almost like a puppy!
