Lakeshore Campground

We have a few combo sites available now on a first come first serve basis.
Most sites are rented by the season (from 4-1 to 10-31 of the same year).
You can pay by the month or yearly, Your choice.

Your camper and or boat can remain on the site or slip during the winter
at no extra charge. We also have designated sites for the race weekend.

Lakeshore campground is in the center of most of the main events
in the tri-cities area. We are only twenty minutes from the BRISTOL
MOTOR SPEEDWAY and the all new THUNDER VALLEY DRAG STRIP.
Call now for reservations for the spring and fall NASCAR race and
ALL THE DRAG EVENTS.

All race sites are full hook-ups and most of them are on pads. Call for free
brouchers and pricing. Campers are also available for rent. We have only a
few so call soon, it is reservations first. All sites rent from Thursday through
Monday in the spring and in the fall. The sites for Thunder Valley will differ.
We are only 4 miles from the Virginia Creeper Trail, and about 20 to 30 min.
away from Damascus, VA, Taylor's Valley, VA and Green Cove station where
the Va. Creeper Trail and world famous Appalachian Trail, not only cross but
run together for a ways

If you like we can make arrangements for shuttle service and bicycle rentals
for the trails. All shuttles and bicycle rentals begin in April and continue
throughout the year, or as long as there is a demand.

The town of Abingdon is only 7 miles away with The Barter Theater, The Martha
Washington Inn, the Dixie Pottery, the Highlands Festival and much, much, more.

From 30 minutes to one hour away are several county and state fairs, like the
Grey station fair, The Appalachian state fair, Trail days in Damascus, VA.
Trade days in Mt. City, Tennessee, and many, many more.

During the fall our little portion of the world is in our opinion the most beautiful
place to be in the world. When the leaves start to change in October and on
through November our mountains are a site to behold, and in December
when the snow falls you've just got to see.

If you enjoy the changing of the seasons and all the beautiful colors,
the white cap mountains, fall and winter fishing (it's great!) or just a quiet
weekend away from all the hustle and bustle, give us a call! During the winter
we have to turn off the water because of the cold and freezing water lines,
but we still have electricity, so bring a gallon of water and come to the lake.
