1839 Virginia Statesman Newspaper Notice

Since no marriage record has been found for Thomas Allen and Elizabeth Crow, and no death record has been located for Elizabeth, her parents' names were unknown until this newspaper notice was uncovered in a Smyth County VA court file relating to a lawsuit involving the estate of John Snider. In this court notice, Thomas Allen's wife, Elizabeth, is listed as having been a child of John Snider.
